Applesauce

Ingredients

  • 2 parts sweet apples (like Golden Delicious)
  • 1 part tart apples (like Granny Smith)
  • sugar
  • lemon juice
  • spices to taste (like cinnamon or ginger)

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and chop apples.

In a pot, cook them over medium until soft, 25 to 30 minutes.

Add the sugar, lemon juice and spices to taste.

Puree in a food processor.
