Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 quart of stewed tomatoes (2 cans)
  • 1 quart of water
  • 1 t. chili powder
  • 3-4 large red skinned potatoes,cubed
  • 1 can green beans, drained
  • 1/3 C. ketchup
  • Tabasco sauce to taste
  • Shredded cheese (your choice) optional

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ground beef, onions & garlic until beef is no longer pink. Salt & pepper to taste. Add tomatoes, water, chili powder and potatoes. Cook on medium low heat until potatoes are tender. Add green beans, ketchup and tabasco sauce. Serve when heated through and top with shredded cheese of your choice if so desired.
