Glazed Spiced Pecans

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups pecans
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp rum flavoring or vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Heat nuts @ 250 F for 15 minutes. Blend and cook sugar, water, salt and spices to soft ball stage. Do not stir. Add flavoring; stir in nuts until creamy and coated. Turn onto wax paper, separating as they cool.
