Ingredients
- 2 cans chunk chicken breast, drained
- 1 8 ounce can sliced mushrooms, drained (save 1/4 cup juice)
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 cups half and half
- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
Preparation
Step 1
Cook butter, mushrooms, peppers, and onions, for 5 minutes in medium saucepan. Slowly add flour. Cook until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in cream, broth and mushroom liquid. Heat through and serve over rice or biscuits.
