TACO DIP

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsps chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsps ground cumin
  • 1/8 tsp ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomato
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 can (4 1/4 ounces) sliced ripe olives, drained
  • 1/4 cup sliced pimiento-stuffed green olives
  • Tortilla chips and blue corn chips
  • Crisp salad greens

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, cumin, cayenne and chili powder until smooth; stir in salsa. Spread dip onto greens-lined 10-inch serving platter.

Top with Cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, tomatoes, green onions, ripe olives and green olives.
Serve with tortilla chips and blue corn chips
