Ingredients
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined, & chopped
- 1/2 pound of ground pork
- 6 oz. of fresh peeled & chopped water chestnuts or a 3 oz. canned water chestnuts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped scallions
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons Shaoxing rice wine
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons Asian sesame oil
- 1 slightly beaten egg white
- 1 package of wonton wrappers
- 4 cups of homemade stock: chicken or vegetable stock or reduced-salt canned broth
Preparation
Step 1
Grind all ingredients together and fill wonton wrappers.
Fill led wrappers will freeze for 6 months.
Add to soup and simmer until heated through.
