Ingredients
- 1 package of cream cheese
- 1 1/4 cup sugar divided
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 2 1/4 cups flower
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1 1/2 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup canola
- 1 1/2 T vinegar
Preparation
Step 1
Beat together cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and egg yolk.
Stir in chocolate chips and set aside.
Sift flour, cocoa, 1 cup sugar, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
Combine water, oil and vinegar.
Add to dry ingredients and mix well.
Fill 18 cupcakes 1/2 full with batter. Top each with 1 T cream cheese.
Bake 350 for 20-25 minutes
