Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 8 med. Granny Smith or other cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light-brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 cup red-hot cinnamon candies
- 1/4 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
1. In large skillet, over medium heat, melt butter. Add apples, brown sugar and lemon juice; toss gently.
2. In small saucepan, heat cinnamon candies and water until melted; pour over apples. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until apples are tender-about 5 minutes.
