Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 4 c cooked rice
  • 1 12-oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 c milk
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1/4 c water
  • 1 c raisins, dried cranberries, and/or dried cherries
  • 3 T butter, softened
  • 1 t vanilla or vanilla bean paste
  • 1 t ground cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Lightly coat inside of 4-qt slow cooker with cooking spray, set aside.

In large bowl, combine cooked rice, evaporated milk, milk, sugar, and water. Stir in raisins, butter, vanilla and cinnamon. Transfer to prepared cooker.

Cover and cook on low-heat for 2 to 3 hours. Stir gently before serving.
