  • 3 cups rice
  • 1 small potato, sliced
  • 1 stick butter

Preparation

Step 1

Soak 3 or move cups of plain rice in salted cold water.
Bring a lot of water to a boil, put in rice and par boil about 6 minutes. Drain.
Vegetable oil in pan to cover bottom, heat and place sliced potatoes, brown slightly.
Remove from heat, bring to low, place on top of potatoes 1/2 rice and 1/2 stick of butter, sliced place rest of Rice on top and add remaining butter. Put towel on lid cover & slow, slow cook for about 1/2 hour
