Ingredients

  • 6 large pie shells
  • 2 pounds crawfish tails
  • 1 pound lump white crabmeat
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 1/2 cups onions
  • 1 1/2 cups celery
  • 1/4 cup green onions save tops
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small can evaporated milk
  • 1 small container of parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup parsley

Step 1

Saute onions, celery, garlic and butter until clear. Add mushroom soup and evaporated milk. Blend well over medium heat. Add crawfish tails and cook for 15 minutes. Add corn starch, green onions, and parsley. Stir well and add salt and pepper to taste. Add crabmeat and parmesan cheese. Cook until mixture thickens. Precook 3 pie shells for about 12 minutes. Place in these pre-cooked 3 pie shells the filling and cover with other 3 pie shells. Bake at 350 F until top crust is brown (approx. 30 mins.) Cool 15 minutes.
