Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Penzeys Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 350 deg.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs and mix. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oatmeal, baking powder, baking soda,salt and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the batter along with the milk. Fold in the raisins. Drop by the rounded teaspoonful on greased cookie sheets, 1 inch apart. Bake at 350 deg. for 12-15 minutes depending on size and how brown you want them.
