Ingredients

  • 30 marshmallows 1/2 Ib coloured if desired
  • l 1/2 cups (15 oz. can) Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups graham wafer crumbs or vanilla wafers
  • 1/3 cup maraschino cherries
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 l/2 cups coconut
  • Few grains salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cut marshmallows into quarters. Blend marshmallows. Eagle brand, wafer crumbs, salt, vanilla and cherries.
Line 8 inch square pan with one half the coconut. Add marsh-mallow mixture. Press firmly, sprinkle the remaining coconut on top, press. Place in refrigerator to ripen for 24 hours. Unmould, cut into squares.
