Homemade Freezer Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 4 c flour
  • 2 T baking powder
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 c shortening or butter
  • 1 3/4 c milk

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dry ingredients together. Add in the shortening or butter and mix until crumbly. You can use a food processor if you want. Add in the milk and mix until a ball forms.
Roll out onto a floured surface and cut into biscuits.
To Freeze...freeze on a cookie sheet for 1-2 hours then place in an airtight frezzer bag.
To bake...Pull the desired amount out and let thaw for 30 min to an hour. bake at 450 for 8-12 min. You can bake them straight from the freezer but they wont rise.
