Spinach Quiche

Ingredients

  • 3 T chopped onion
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 (10oz) frozen chooses spinach, cooked and well drained
  • 1 c shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 T flour
  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 t Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 t basil
  • 1/2 t marjoram
  • 1/4 t ground white pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven and baking sheet to 375.
In small skillet, sauté onion in butter until translucent. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Add spinach, cheese, and flour. Spoon into crust.
Combine remaining ingredients. Blend well. Pour egg mixture over spinach mixture.
Bake on preheated baking sheet 40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
