Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 French bread cut into chunks
  • 12 eggs
  • vanilla
  • 3 cans evaporated milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups pecans chopped
  • 2 cans pineapple chunks in juice do NOT drain juice

Preparation

Step 1

Into a LARGE baking pan, mix all ingredients well and let soak. Bake at 350 F for 1 hour.

Sauce: In a sauce pan, combine 1 cup of sugar with a little water. Boil until sauce gets a little thick. For flavor, add rum, amaretto, or vanilla extract to sauce.
