Ingredients
- Bottom:
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3 tbsp. icing or brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- Mix above as for pastry. Press firmly into pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350°F.
- Top:
- Mix the following and spread over bottom.
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 cup coconut
- 1/4 cup cherries
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. When cool dust with icing sugar.
