Microwave Chex Party Mix

"My great-grandma Bucholz labored the long way over this using the oven. I kept messing around with the recipe with the microwave to make it faster and just as good."

Ingredients

• Optional:
• 1/2 c. (1 stick) plus 2 Tbsp. margarine
• 1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
• 5 tsp. Worchestershire
• 2 2/3 c. corn Chex
• 2 2/3 c. rice Chex
• 2 2/3 c. wheat Chex
• 1 c. salted mixed nuts or peanuts
• 2 c. small stick pretzels
• 1 c. mixed oriental crackers
• Dried oriental peas

Preparation

Step 1

In lrg. bowl, melt margarine (I've used Blue Bonnet) on high for 1 min. Stir in seasoned salt and Worchestershire. Add other ingredients and stir until all are coated. Microwave 6-7 mins. stirring every 2 mins. Cool and pack in small tins or canning jars decorated for gift-giving.
