Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs. 2 1/2 lbs. Flank Steak
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 3/4 cup 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. 1 tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp. 1 tbsp. grated ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. 1/4 tsp. chili flakes
  • 1 cup 1 cup grated carrots
  • GREEN ONION

Step 1

Cut flank steak into thin strips put in a zip-lock bag with cornstarch and shake to coat.
Add olive oil, ginger, chili flakes, soy sauce, water and brown sugar to crock-pot. Stir to combine, add flank steak, stir again until meat is completely coated with sauce.

Cover with lid and cook 2 to 3 hours on high or 4 to 5 hours on low.
About 30 minutes before done, add carrots.

Serve over rice, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
