Shredded Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • Very tender chicken (1 hour and 30 min)
  • Quick cooked chicken (30 min)
  • Salt to season water (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

-Tender 1. Bring chicken to a boil (with salt) in med-large pot.
2. Turn heat down to med-low and cook for 20 min.
3. Turn heat down to low and cook 1 hr.
4. Using two forks, shred the chicken

-Quick 1. Bring water to a boil (with salt).
2. Turn heat off.
3. Add chicken and let sit tighlty covered. 10-15 min (boneless) or
15-20 min (bone-in)
4. Using two forks, shred the chicken
