Butterscotch Cookies

Can sub butterscotch chips for white choc chips

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2/3 c light brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/3 c flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1/4 c butterscotch chips

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in a med saucepan. Remove from heat and add brown sugar, mixing until sugar is smooth and lump free. Add egg and vanilla, beating until smooth.
Mix together flour and soda then stir into batter. Chill batter in the refrigerator about 10 min. Stir in butterscotch chips if desired.
Bake at 375 for 7-8 min on ungreased cookie sheet. Remove immediately.
