Ingredients
- Filling:
- 6 pears peeled cored, and quartered
- 2 oz unsalted butter
- Topping:
- 3 slices of spiced loaf, or ginger bread
- 5 thin ginger snaps
- 3 oz. unsalted butter diced
- 7/8 cup all purpose flour

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Brown the pears in the butter over high heat.
Break up the spiced loaf, or ginger bread slices, and the cookies into crumbs in a food processor. Add the butter and flour and process until the mixture resembles large bread crumbs. Put the pears into an oven proof dish and cover with the cobler topping.
Bake in the preheated oven for around 20 minutes, until the topping is golden brown.
