Ingredients

  • 1 lb very lean ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 c shredded raw potato
  • 1/4 c chopped onion
  • 1/4 c chopped bell pepper
  • 1/4 t allspice
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/8 t pepper
  • 1 c Rice Krispie type cereal
  • 4 slices Muenster or Mozzarella cheese

Step 1

Coat 8 muffin cups with PAM. In bowl, combine all the ingredients except cereal and cheese.; Mix well. Add rice cereal last mixing in just until uniform consistency. pat into muffin cups, filling to within 1/4 in from top. Bake at 400 for 25 min or when done. Remove loaves from tins and drain on paper towels for a m in or two. meanwhile cut cheese in strips about 1/8 in thick and 1 in wide. Crisscross two strips on top of each loaf. Return to oven on a oven proof platter for just a couple min til the cheese melts.
