Sour Cream Substitue

You can add some lemon juice to add the acid bite of sour cream if you can tolerate

Ingredients

  • 1 c cottage cheese
  • 6 t low fat milk

Preparation

Step 1

Place cottage cheese in a large wire strainer and run cold water over it, washing away the liquid, until water runs clear. let drain for about 10 min then place curds and milk in a blender or food processor and whirl until it is completely smooth. This will make about 3/4 c and you can keep in the frig for as long as you can keep cottage cheese.
