Peppermint Ice Cream Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate cracker crust
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip
  • 1 cup crushed Brach's peppermint candies, crushed with hammer
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Soften ice cream. Mix in Cool Whip and crushed peppermint. Pour into pie shell. Top with chocolate chips and a few extra crushed peppermint pieces. Freeze for at least 30 minutes (longer is really necessary).

Take out 5 minutes before serving so you can cut it. Delicious with a drizzle of chocolate sauce over each piece.
