Ingredients

  • 1/2 lbs. butter
  • 1 lb light brown sugar
  • 1 C light Karo syrup
  • 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 t salt

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and brown sugar in large pan. Add mil and syrup.Stir all the time. Heat to 238 degrees. After removing from heat add vanilla and salt. Pour into buttered 9 x 13 pan. Let cool. Cut into squares and wrap in waxed paper
