Strawberry Pineapple Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c powdered sugar
  • 20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, chopped
  • small box vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 c milk
  • 1 tub cool whip

Preparation

Step 1

Bake the yellow cake mix according to the box directions. Cool in the pan for 5 min. Remove to a wire rack.

Mix the powdered sugar with softened cream cheese and spread over the cake. Top the cream cheese mixture with drained strawberries and pineapple.

Mix the vanilla pudding with milk according to the directions. Spread the pudding over the pineapple and strawberry layer.

Frost the entire cake with cool whip. Wrap the cake and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
