Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 2 pounds fish fillets
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Black pepper
  • Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 cup milk
  • Topping:
  • 1/2 cup melted buttered cracker crumbs (Ritz)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

1. Lay fish fillets in a shallow pan.

2. Season with salt, pepper, paprika and lemon juice.

3. Make sauce of butter, salt, pepper, flour, dry mustard and milk,
cooking in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until
thickened.

4. Pour over seasoned fish.

5. Top with buttered crumbs.

6. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
