Ingredients
- 500 g very lean minced beef
- 1 cup thinly sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- 1 package dried Italian salad dressing herb mix
- 3 cups boiling water
- 3 large tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup passata with basil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 to 1.5 cups dried pasta
Preparation
Step 1
Brown minced beef in large skillet for 6-8 minutes and drain fat.
Place all ingredients except pasta into slow cooker. Mix well. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours. Cook pasta until al dente. Stir into soup until heated through. Serve with reduced fat shredded cheese (optional).
