Easy Stuffed Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 cabbage
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package lipton onion soup mix
  • 2 15-1/2 ounce cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 can Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1/2 cup Water

Step 1


Place cabbage in freezer one day ahead. Take out for a couple of hours to
thaw before beginning recipe.

Combine ground beef and onion soup mix. Form into balls.

Core cabbage and peel off as many leaves as you have meat balls. Shred
remaining cabbage and place in bottom of large cooking pot.

Roll meat balls up in cabbage leaves and place on top of the shredded
cabbage.

Combine tomatoes, tomato paste, cider vinegar, brown sugar and catsup. Pour
over rolls. Add water to pot.

Cover and place on stove. Bring to boil and turn down to simmer for an
hour.
