Ingredients
- 5 McIntosh taffy bars (20oz per bar = 2 x 170g bags)
- 1 cup butter
- 1 can eagle brand
- 1 box honey nut cornflakes
- Finely chopped peanuts (optional)
- 2 bags of large marshmallows
Preparation
Step 1
Melt taffy and butter in large saucepan, stirring frequently. Add eagle brand and mix well. Once melted keep on low heat. Crush the whole box of cereal. Mix peanuts with cereal. Dip marshmallows in taffy and then quickly roll in cereal mix. Place on wax paper lined cookie sheet to stiffen.
Suggestions: Best when served cold
Note: soft caramel candies have been used instead of McIntosh taffy.
