- 2 T butter
- 2 apples, cored and sliced
- 1 T sugar
- 2 t cinnamon
- 1/2 c flour
- 1 T sugar
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1/2 c milk

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375. heat a cast iron skillet over med heat. Melt butter and add apples, cinnamon, and sugar. Cook apples for 5 min or until soft.
While apples are cooking, whisk together vanilla, eggs, and milk. Add flour and sugar and beat until smooth.
When apples are soft, remove from pan and add the batter.Bake for 20 min. When done, add the apples on top and serve with powder sugar or syrup.
