Ingredients
- 2 CUPS PLAIN YOGURT
- 2 TSP BAKING SODA
- 1 CUP BROWN SUGAR
- 1 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
- 2 EGGS
- 2 CUPS 100% NATURAL WHOLE WHEAT BRAN
- 2 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
- 4 TSP BAKING POWDER
Preparation
Step 1
PLACE YOGURT IN A BOWL, STIR IN SODA.
BLEND SUGAR , OIL AND EGGS IN A SECOND BOWL
BLEND BRAN, FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER IN A THIRD BOWL.
ALTERNATLY ADD YOGURT MIITURE AND FLOUR MIXTURE TO EGG MIXTURE,ENDING WITH FLOUR MIXTURE
MIX WELL AND BAKE IMMEDIATLY OR REFRIDURATE FOR 2 TO 3 DAYS.
BEFORE BAKING YOU MAY STIR IN FRESH SLICED APPLES,FROZED BERRIES, NUTS ETC.
SPOON BATTER INTO GREASED OR PAPAE LINED MUFFIN TINS.
BAKE IN A 325F OVEN FOR 25 MIN OR UNTIL DONE
