Blueberry Grunt

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • Mix above ingredients, then cook over medium heat until mixed and heated thoroughly and lots of juice has formed.
  • Dumpling Dough:
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together. The dough will be lumpy. When there is plenty of juice of the berry mixture lower heat and add the dough one tbsp at a time. Cover and cook for 15 minutes. Do not uncover during cooking
