Ingredients
- 1 stick butter melted
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups blackberries (frozen or fresh)
- Whipped cream or ice cream for serving

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat 350 degrees
Butter round ceramic pie plate
Stir together 1 cup sugar and flour
add milk whisking until combined
gently whisk in butter until smooth
pour batter into buttered dish
Sprinkle blackberries evenly over top of batter
Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup sugar over the top
Bake 1 hour or until golden
Serve with whipped cream or ice
