Buttermilk Cake

Ingredients

• Boiled Frosting:
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 c. sour milk
• 1 Tbsp. butter
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 1/2 c. cake flour
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 3 Tbsp. cocoa
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/3 c. water
• 1 c. sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Bake in 350 oven.

Use egg white for boiled frosting.

Boiled Frosting:
Boil till mixture until a small amount forms a thread in cold water. Pour on beaten egg white and beat till thck enough to spread.
