Triple Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
By srumbel
And these soft-and-chewy Triple Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies are one of my absolute favorite cookies. Ever. Yup, with three kinds of chocolate stuffed in them, how could a chocolate lover {like me!} not love them? They get their triple chocolate yumminess from the trio of cocoa powder, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and milk chocolate chips. Triple or double ... whatever way you make them ... these cookies are simply delicious.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter, softened (2 sticks)
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. old-fashioned oats
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. milk chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
In a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
In a larger mixing bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat at medium speed until creamy, about 2 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in the flour mixture.
Stir in the oats, and then the chocolate chips. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes (they will still look a bit uncooked in the middle). Let stand on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing from the pan.
Enjoy!
