PEANUT BUTTER KISS COOKIES - Julie Kangas

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1 1/4 flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • Hershey’s Kisses – un-wrapped

Preparation

Step 1

• Beat together margarine and peanut butter for 30 seconds on medium speed.
• Then add ½ of the flour, the sugars, egg, baking soda, baking powder, and vanilla. Beat until combined.
• Then beat in remaining flour.
• Cover and chill until easy to handle.
• Shape into 1 inch balls. Bake at 375° for 7-9 minutes. Immediately after baking, press Hershey’s Kiss into cookie.
