Super-Good Roundsteak

Wonderful served over rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. roundsteak
  • flour
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • sliced onions
  • water

Preparation

Step 1

Cut roundsteak into serving size pieces and pound each with flour. Brown in large skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Remove steak to a large pan to have single layer of meat (no more than doubled if possible). Put tomato soup and water into skillet with dripping and mix. Arrange sliced onions over steaks, then pour sauce over meat and onions. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
