Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon rum extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
1.Preheat oven to 350
2.Cream together butter,brown sugar,white sugar. Beat until smooth. Add egg, vanilla and rum extracts and blend together.
3.In a separate bowl mix together flour, cocoa,salt and baking powder.
4.Add wet ingredients to dry, a little at a time and stir but do not over mix.
5.Add chips.
6.Roll dough into small balls and placed a few inches apart on a ungreased cookie sheet or cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
7.Bake 10 minutes. cookies will not look done but they will be. Allow to cool one minute on the tray and then slide onto cookie racks and let cookies completely cool before serving.
8.Can be made in bars as well.
