Ingredients
- Marinade:
- 4 lb sirloin tip roast
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 to 1 cup Burgundy wine
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tsp Maggi's flavoring
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup chopped onion or shallots
Preparation
Step 1
Marinate beef for 8 hours or overnight, turning several times. Drain and save marinade. Spit roast beef until done. Baste while rotating. *For learner cuts, mix 1/2 reserved marinade with olive oil and baste occasionally.
