Crumb Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c flour
  • 1 c packed light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 t baking powder
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 c butter, slightly softened
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/2 c milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. Grease and flour 8 in square cake pan. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. But in butter until crumbly. Put 1/2 c of mix aside.
Beat together egg and milk in small bowl; mix into remaining crumb mixture. Pour the dough into the pan and coarsely sprinkle with the crumb mixture. Bake 30-35 min.
