Mrs. Brodys Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 20 oz cans Campbell's pork and beans
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 heaping tbsp. brown mustard (guldens works fine)
  • 1/2 - 3/4 lb bacon
  • 1 cup ketchup

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 325.

Layer ingredients. DO NOT STIR. Empty beans into 2 quart baking dish. Mix brown sugar and mustard and sprinkle across top of beans. Cut bacon slices into 1 inch chunks and separate and lay them across top covering entire casserole. Spread ketchup across top using knife or spatula, covering entire dish.

Bake 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
