Creamy Herb Marinade

Mix 1/4 cup (60 mL) of the marinade mixture with 1/4 cup (60 mL) of olive oil
and you have a salad dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) vegetable stock
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp (7.5 mL) sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
2. Use as a marinade for meats, poultry, fish, and vegetables.
3. Reserve some marinade to brush on while baking or grilling.
