Ingredients
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, drained well or fresh tomatoes seeded
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
- 1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 small clove garlic, crushed
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano leaves, crushed
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
Serve with sliced toasted Italian rolls or ciabatta.
Can also spoon mixture on toasted rolls and broiled until hot, about 2 minutes.
