Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion finely sliced
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (seasoned or plain based on your preference)
- 2 cups pasta sauce (your favorite)
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients except pasta sauce in a bowl and mix well.
Roll meat mixture into 1.5 inch balls (about 32 meatballs)
Place meatballs in frying pan on medium-high heat and brown meatballs on all sides.
Using potholders, drain any fat from the pot.
Place the meatballs into slow cooker.
Pour 2 cups of your favorite pasta sauce over top and CAREFULLY stir. (Don’t break the meatballs!)
Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours or HIGH for 3 hours.
