Ingredients

  • 1 (16.5-ounce) package refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 3 apples, peeled and cored, sliced 1/4-inch thick (2 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degree F. Press the cookie dough into a 9" x 13" baking pan, completely covering the bottom of the pan.

In a medium bowl, mix the apples with the lemon juice, honey, and cinnamon, and distribute evenly over the cookie dough.

In a small bowl, combine the sugar, flour, and butter and mix with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over the apple mixture.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden.

Serving Tip

Make sure you’ve got some vanilla ice cream on hand when this comes out of the oven. What a match!
