Dog Treat Icing

If you want to make your treats for your furry friends prettier, try adding dog-friendly icing. This icing dries hard. If you have a picky dog or want to get fancy, you can add small amounts food color and small amounts of pureed fruit (strawberries, pineapple, or cherries).

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
• 1/2 cup tapioca starch
• 2 – 3 teaspoons low fat or 2% milk

Preparation

Step 1

Place yogurt and tapioca starch in a small bowl and thoroughly combine.
Mix in milk a teaspoon at a time until consistency of frosting.
Decorate or dip the dog treats. Place on wax paper and let dry.
