  • 4 cups bread or left over biscuits
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup raisins
  • butter
  • 6 eggs
  • salt

Preparation

Step 1

Crumble bread,add raisins, soak in milk until soft
beat sugar, vanilla,eggs and salt until foamy
add to bread and raisin mixture stir until combined
pour into 13X9 baking dish
top with bits of butter and cinnamon
bake at 400* until set, and knife comes out clean
about 30 minutes
Serve plain or with whip cream,chocolate or vanilla pudding on top
can be prepared the night before and cooked the next day
