Ingredients

  • 2 c butter softened
  • 1 c confectioners sugar
  • 2 T water
  • 4 t vanilla
  • 4 c flour
  • 2 c chopped pecans
  • additional sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add water and vanilla and mix well. Gradually add flour; fold in pecans.
Roll dough into 1 in balls and place on ungreased baking sheet and flatten with fingers.
Bake 20-25 min or until bottom edges are golden brown. Cool on wire rack and dust with confectioners sugar.
